Unfortunately, this app does not work on the new Amazon FireTV. After you have installed the app and open a sort of App Intro still appear. Then you get the choice whether you want to log in or prefer to use the app without registration.
The option without registration can indeed choose but they can not be confirmed. Accordingly, you have to log in. After having his Vevo account activated with a code, a black screen and nothing happens just appear. The app is not crashed because you pressed the Back button on the remote control you will be asked if you really want to leave Vevo.
Uninstall and reinstall brought nothing, after the intro everything was black and nothing works. Restarting the FireTV did not help either.
I hope that Vevo or amazon bring the whole thing up and running in a timely manner, as Vevo actually has a wide range of HD videos that you would like to play with the FireTV.

Having Amazon informed about the problem, I received the following email. And I suggest that as many users as possible in touch with Amazon, so that also noted that there really is a problem. Otherwise, the problem will never be solved.
