Good ironing station for frequent press

As a replacement for an older Dampfbügelstation I was looking for an alternative product and have become aware of this model through the various reviews. After a few weeks of use I would like to summarize my experiences briefly.

Positive: fast heat, good handling, sufficient steam production, large water tank for long ironing, "refueling" without turning off possible. "Descaling" to work too easily, however, was not necessary.

Neutral: great device that some parking space needs. Top off the ironing board.

Separate steam burst strong but since only one-second increments used, rather unnecessarily. The "normal" steam produced is quite enough in most cases.

At the beginning of use was how to read in other reviews, perceive an unpleasant odor, which was caused by my studies of the water tank. (Can sometimes be filled with water overnight and then empty) After repeated rinsing is this however since disappeared.

Set the temperature on the iron to a low, but comes rather as water vapor from the nozzle. For sensitive materials that tend to stick (because the previous iron was better as it was a separate Teflon coating for the soleplate there) you have to go down but with the temperature. Here you have to experiment a bit to find the perfect setting.

Even a conventional steam ironing table is not up to the amounts of steam, that at some point the ironing board cover is wet through and through, and under the ironing board, it drips. Here then probably only helps the purchase of an expensive ironing board with steam extraction. Or you find yourself simply so from that it is best to decrease the ironing board cover after ironing and allowed to dry.

Negatives: So far, nothing. Whether the steam button survive in the long run, you have to wait, because this part is most commonly in use yet.

Conclusion: Buy recommendation. Man ironing but a lot faster and the results speak for themselves.
