I bought this jacket for my Iceland vacation. I'm not disappointed but not surprised. The jacket keeps out the wind well. However, one gets easily sweat. Rain is only moderately held. In the shoulder area, it quickly came through especially in the places where the backpack presses the jacket firmly on the body.
Price / performance is, however, hard to beat if you go only occasionally and at maximum rain wander.
