Opposite the pretty square sister model (Lumia 1520), the 1320 comes with a
rounded housing therefore. That's how I find very pleasing to the palms of the hands, especially when you have to keep it long in one position.
The size is really fun. But you should know in advance what you're getting into. The 1320 is certainly not a 'trouser pocket cell phone'.
Since before I mostly wear Cargo / outdoor trousers, the Lumia still fits with me still comfortably in the front pocket.
With a pair of jeans that is somewhat different.
The 1320 allows you to change the back polycarbonate cover against alternative colors (orange, yellow, white and black).
Unfortunately, the battery still will not change inexplicably. He is permanently installed, but provides with 3,400 mAh capacity good.
The Qi standard is also supported and allows the wireless store. It is therefore compatible with perhaps existing chargers from Nokia.
It has two terminals: the 3.5-millimeter jack for connecting the supplied in-ear headphones and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The slots for Micro-SIM and microSD cards are located under the housing cover, microSD card can be up to 64 GB in size.
DISPLAY:
The resolution compared to the 1520 by 1,920 × 1,080 to 1,280 × 720 pixels is reduced.
Due to the size of six inches, the pixel density of 368 high drops to only 245 ppi.
Nevertheless, the display makes a good impression. It is a protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 IPS panel.
It is the viewing angle stable and very bright lights. The high contrast and good color representation like me a lot.
PERFORMANCE & SOFTWARE:
In 1320, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC operates 400 8930AB (1.7 GHz per core), a Qualcomm Adreno 305 graphics chip, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space.
Upon delivery of them are still 4.6 GB.
The operation feels very fluid. The Internet Explorer is quick when scrolling and rendering.
Overall, a very fluid feel when navigating through the menus and when you start apps.
On delivery, the Lumia with Winsdows Phone is 8 (including 3.Update) and the firmware Lumia Black stocked.
Meanwhile, the update came on Windows Phone 8.1 (Denim firmware), which brought a lot of improvements and some visual (positive) changes.
Software default, among others, on board:
- The mobile version of Microsoft Office
- The navigation tools HERE Drive and HERE Maps (with offline maps)
- The DB Navigator
- Adobe Reader
- Help software Nokia Care
- Football App iLiga
TELEPHONE:
Despite its dimensions, the call works quite well.
The voice quality is excellent.
For choosing but both hands are required, although the keypad keys are mapped very large.
CAMERA:
The main camera shoots at a maximum resolution of 5 megapixels quite useful pictures as long as the light is good and the ISO speed is not increased.
Of course, colors and sharp contrasts. Bildschrauschen should be noted in favorable conditions barely. Once the
Deteriorating situation, the light looks different.
The 'Webcam' on the front bringing it to 640 x 480 pixels (0.3 MP) and is just sufficient for video telephony.
Videos can be recorded in 720p or 1080p. The quality and sharpness are good overall. Unfortunately, there is no image stabilization, a steady hand is here in demand.
CONCLUSION:
It runs fast and smooth, has a durable battery and a very good call quality, including LTE reception and good display.
It is now very convenient to have and with Windows 8.1 (denim) makes it even gained a lot more fun.
I recommend it highly.
