Design
Even more than the pleasing appearance struck me already when unpacking the extremely pleasant feel on: I found myself, as I constantly touched the lamp at the beginning and stroked the velvety surface, which both lamp base, -arm and head covering, as well as the control sensors. The sensors light up very subtle red and round off the design. Refrain can I have the small manufacturer logo.
The stable gooseneck is fine adjustable and also not doing crunches. In upright position literally creates a floodlight.

Light
In full strength I would describe the color of light than daylight white; the cold white lamps that I own, have as yet a distinct blue cast in a direct comparison. Dimmed the light color changes minimal, remains for me but pleasant.
The light is glare-free by the white cover and also produces no strange reflections in Bildschimen as I partly know it by LED light. In all (seven) dimming the light remains completely stable and flicker-free (what a blessing compared to energy-saving lamps).

Consumption
Since it was criticized in another review, I unpacked my meter: Consumption when switched off is outside the measurable range. Moreover, at the lowest dimming level, the power consumption is less than one watt. Pro dimming then the electricity consumption rises about each just over one watt up to full capacity of 9 watts. Thus needs m. E. No one to have a bad Ökogewissen, even if he uses the lamp at its lowest level for continuous lighting.

Conclusion
A chic and contemporary - efficient and dimmable - lamp that lends itself as a desk and as a working light. With 2 years warranty we can highly recommend.
