Conclusion: This bulb is a replacement for the adequater 80 watt halogen tube. My impression is that they are even a little brighter. The light color is very good, felt identical to slightly warmer than the halogen tubes. Only problem is the design. Without safety problematic modifications I did not get installed the lamp. But since they depend unreachably high, that is acceptable to me. Another disadvantage of the design: The lamp is very high, so that a portion of the light passing lights up on floodlights and depending on the viewing angle a bit hidden.
Overall not perfect despite very good light quality and energy efficiency. Given the current price I can only recommend the lamp energy saving freaks who are ready at any price to save energy. Would allow the costs are amortized within two years the lamp very many hours a day light.
