I have the 31 mm to the EF 70-200mm 1: 50mm 1 4 L IS USM and the EF 13 mm on the 1.4 tried with the EOS 30D. With the tele I photographed full-screen on two feet, our guinea pigs. The normal lens was used for flowers. Particularly impressed myself have the recordings with the normal lens. Since it is quite high speed, autofocus worked flawlessly and I was able to approach the object to a few centimeters. When the Tele AF had a bit more trouble. In both cases, however, have very convinced me the results.
Processing, however, has let me down a whole. The rings make Although initially a valued and robust. However, the rings do not fit so well. The attachment and detachment of the camera and lens is unusually heavy, but they sit a little too loosely after snapping. Especially with slightly heavier lenses that can be felt.
The included back cover is completely useless because it does not tighten up and falls down by itself. Have these replaced by a cover of Canon, which fits as usual.
In addition, I would have liked a millimeter indication on the rings.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately, only three stars because I expected a better fit for the price (EUR 83.80) (although other manufacturers ever ask twice).
However, the deficiencies described keep within acceptable limits. So I can each, where the price does not scare and will not fully go into macro photography, recommend this product.
For me enrich my equipment regarding my scope and budget.
