Installation:
Installation proved to be a bit difficult, because the mounting bracket of the card was too long and at the bottom something had to be sawn off, so that the card came into contact with the slot. A comparison with other cards has shown that the problem was not to the housing, but in fact on the map. (-1 Point)
Function:
The card has been recognized by Windows 7 64bit unfortunately XP 32bit and Windows immediately, to install the drivers on the CD corrected this problem fairly quickly.
Power:
With a Gigabit card you would expect a fast performance. This meets the card outstanding. It recognizes a Gbit line and switched on Gbit easily without manual changes must be made.
However, the performance in an environment without Gbit is amazingly well below the usual standard. (-1 Point) This phenomenon could with various switch and computers are repeated and thus represents a small mistake. In my case, however, not very bad, as I get rid of this as most probably buy this card in a Gbit environment and use this as already mentioned works brilliantly.
In summary:
This card is for the fairly low price as a good alternative to expensive Gbit cards because it provides an almost similar, good performance. In an environment without Gbit but another card should be chosen due to unprecedented loss of speed.
