When the Monster Manual from previous editions know, you know, in principle, this. The variety of monsters has remained the same in the core, it is the iconic D & D monsters are just covered, as well as some more obscure little creatures. The rules are naturally adapted to the new edition, all monsters were new pictures missed. These pictures I edmpfinde as largely successful, but that is of course a matter of taste. In scope, the book gives nothing over copies of older editions.
I am happy with the book.
