I bought the NAS with 2 x 3TB hard drives from WD (Green). The decor was as usual with me via the web interface instead of using the supplied tool. The device has been given a static IP, but this is not absolutely necessary. At the moment, it is running in RAID 1 (mirroring) so that data loss is almost excluded. The help is very good and the interface can be switched to a lot of languages. The transfer values are large files to 59 MB / s write and 70MB ~ / s read. That's so much better than my old NAS (Buffalo LinkStation Duo) and makes things comfortable. An feature requests almost nothing remains on at the device. It can be just about anything retrofitted when you need it (SMART tool, Web server, similar JDDownloader Download Manager, and so on.) For the price a great tip. The volume is not unpleasant to me noticed as criticized in other recessions, but is adapted nice temperature controlled. Equally positive is to be noted that you can go to sleep the hard drives without problems via an adjustable time. That's why I decided at the hard drives for the more favorable Green. While a NAS running continuously, the hard drives are not used consistently. The only thing I still wish to support the Hubs USB 3.0 port so that you can still connect fast external hard drives and they can run in the raid.
