Have connected to the sound system with this cable my Playstation. This also came together perfectly. The plugs were fit and well engaged. The cable appears to be well shielded and also it is a little stiff that it can not bend what not is also very important in a optical cable.
Unfortunately, there is now only around since I have upgraded to HDMI yet, but it did a long time that what it should do and with no problems.

Would definitely recommend!
