Now my son has requested a pair of binoculars. Children Binoculars also cost almost EUR 20 but I did not want to spend on something inferior (Who buys cheap, buys twice), because I have 49 EUR for this glass perceived as favorable. So I ordered (encouraged by the good reviews here) two Pentax 8x21 UCF R, a stop for me. And am very impressed. Small, light (but just not feather), good feel. And: Great look. It allows me to really see things or read Scripture that I could not decipher without the glass. With the overlap of the visual field and I have no problems in spite of the lenses inset there is a clear stereoscopic effect. This image is pretty sharp. The handling and the function I'm 100% satisfied.
Little things: The bag is only a thin shell (without mounting possibility for a belt etc), but naturally extends entirely as protection from. The supplied strap is attached directly to the binoculars either the left or right lens: This might be desired for opera glasses, I'm going to but surely set a strap that is attached to both sides of the binoculars.
All in all: 5 stars.
