Coming to install:
Of course it is a pity that this outlet does not have the common side tightening screws.
So it makes installation a little more time consuming and depending on the nature of the flush-mounted socket also a bit cumbersome.
You have to expose the screw holes, if desired, as it was mostly about deleted etc.
In my case, the can was very tight and unfortunately fit the socket not go (for now).
One should really accurately measure best the inside and see how much space you have. Older flush boxes (10-20-30 years ago may be ever more closely, as in my case)
Nevertheless, does not return to the same product, you can still remove parts of the flush box carefully, but what I suggest in any way and absolutely no one wants to animate here to imitate !!!
This contradicts all common house installation regulations. Therefore, at your own risk !!
What I have noticed, were the terminals. Just do not over-tighten (which can happen in advance, the rigid copper cables are also not slip out) but otherwise you risk that the entire clamp rotates in its housing and that one has in my opinion hammer out quickly with very little force. So not tighten as you would do in normal sockets similar design.
The larger diameter of the outlet compared to a normal power outlet makes careful cable sorting in the flush box also somewhat difficult. One should not bend the cable too often, at best only once yes! and then no more.
Depending on how old and how many times the cables have already been bent in the past, it may happen in advance that a cable breaks, this behavior is in my opinion still favored by the terminals.
In my case, I could not risk it and it was so tight that I switched from rigid copper cables to a flexible (stranded). So I could put everything nicely without torturing the cable.
Also this step I would not advise anyone, because this is also quite contrary to all rules so.
Despite all this violations, etc. (in my case) I have to praise the product. I mean for a little more than 20 euros you can really now do not complain. In the description here is something even times in detail for a change in it (not like in other products, just a picture and that's about it).
A star deduction there for the not so appropriate terminals and the other, a little more complex fastening system.
A very good alternative to other expensive USB sockets 1 and 2 equal to the purchase of an extra charging plug for his device.
One should definitely be getting get professional help if you want to do to create in the field of electrical home!
