The menu and the remote control are nicely kept simple and clear.
Thanks to pre-installed applications can be (if an Internet connection is provided), direct access from the TV to the media center from some stations. I tested only at ZDF since it went but without any problems and even easier / better than the PC.
The TV has by the way, in addition to Wi-Fi and a LAN connection that is not listed here on Amazon.
But the additional functions is lagging behind considerably:
The processor is quite slow if you go to the portal page Smart TV, you have to wait a while every time until everything has loaded. This is forgivable in the price and admittedly not so bad but a bit annoying in the long run.
The browser does not support Flash, so if you want to watch flash videos from sites for which there is no app (in my case, for example, Game One), so this may not be directly on the TV.
What at all bothers me most: The USB port can be connected USB drives or hard drives, from which you can then play back video files. However, the sticks / hard drives can only be read when they are formatted with the FAT32 file system obsolete. While it is no problem to reformat existing hard drives, but allowed only FAT32 files up to a size of max. 4 GB, which is nowadays crossed quickly with movies in HD quality.
It is difficult to understand why Toshiba has omitted to support the now standard NTFS format, which allows much larger files. Actually, the standard should be, even my old Aldi TV, the ...
Conclusion:
Who said defects not mind about because he / she does not want in any case to use the corresponding functions, receives a comparatively cheap, but quite usable 3D TV (3D function even though I can not say anything because not tested), for me they were, however, reason enough to return him now.
