The TerraTec Cinergy S2 provides a mE is a good alternative to conventional HD satellite Recievern. Simply install, install drivers + software, connect satellite cable, start station search and enjoy. With the card I have also found more channels than with my old satellite reciever. The program's user interface is very clear and intuitive held, so that the program and Menühführung convinced after a short introductory phase. The remote control also works fine.
To complain would be a few points:
- The extremely terse instructions (eg not at all going to the program interface, a, fortunately this is relatively simple). In addition, the individual connections are in the instructions not described: The card has a connection for a Mox cable (power supply), giving the impression that they would need an additional power supply, but this is not the case - by no means the Mox port prove, since the card will not be recognized by the system (at least for me). Furthermore it has a connector (IDE) for an additional CI-module (to encrypted channels by means of a "subscription card" to unlock) (for this additional module possibly the Mox port is needed, I guess, at least)
- The sometimes longer switching (said a software problem is likely and is solved by an update I had no way of an update because of my slow Internet connection.)
All in all I am very enthusiastic about the TerratTec Cinergy, picking up the transmitter works as intended without problems in different formats, HD-TV is possible (ARTE HD, etc.) and it is still relatively cheap for ...
This product I therefore recommend further definitely.
