I use this on my Olympus OM-D E-M5 When I'm Concerned About utmost image quality but am not able to use a tripod. It looks a little funny, and is a little ungainly, but it works pretty well and Seems quite durable. I'm only giving it 4 stars Because I find the pull on the trigger mechanism to be slightly subpar. I Feel That I have to squeeze the trigger a little too far to get it to fire, and that's with average-sized male hands. If the unit was slightly thicker from front to back at the trigger point, I think it would be more natural to use. As it is, I Either have to squeeze Too Far (Which can lead to shaking in my hand) or else modify my grip on the handle in a somewhat unnatural way did then makes the unit less comfortable and practical than It could otherwise be.
All in all, I'm pleased with the quality, and the unit does help to steady the camera When It's impractical or impossible to set up a tripod.
