* Download directly from Rockstar. Download fluctuated as with many ... so downloading run the way overnight. Was done the next day. For some apparently absolutely inconceivable that the download rate not constant beibt shortly after release ... Can the hysteria here understand or are enough things in life over which one can get upset more ... ^^ #firstworldproblems
* Install the patch at the Social Club brought finally the error code 1 (server not available), because they were loud but online Rockstar, the .exe started times as admin and then went without any problems. Can understand that you do not necessarily even have to draufkommen here, but you can google this error code.
Why Social Club? This practically manages your player profile in the in-game achievements and so on are stored. Who already played GTA 4, had in any case already have an account and did not have to re-register.
* My system is mediocre suitable (AMD 6xCore @ 3.3GHz, 8GB Ram, AMD HD7950 GraKa) for the game. In fast scenes come I felt under the 30 FPS, cut scenes are close to the advertised 60. These values do I get when the game resets the settings for me. If you deactivate one or other features you can still bring some out.
* I do not say too much to content in the game itself, but there are better sources elsewhere. In effect, it gives very good to be part of an authentic American city with all the sun and shade. It is part of a framework of action but has in between a lot of freedom in what you're doing. That you can play three very different characters does the game well. Only in a few missions you're forced to take the role of a person, here I would have liked to complete freedom, even if it is the drama / action of the scene might harm.
Positive
- Characters are all sophisticated and quite different
- Large clearance in which what you do, even though no "sandbox"
- Atmosphere, authenticity and size of the game world
- Great Mission diversity and random events, especially the big raids with alternate courses of action are very well done
- Control possibly also geschmackssche - Thanks mouse but much simpler goals (if you have dispensed the Autoaim the console version), am satisfied with the control.
- Open end after the main storyline is completed
- GTA Online mode (but I would recommend it with friends, alone with strangers rather not)
Negative
- A matter of taste: driving physics somewhat unrealistic (easier) than its predecessor, vehicles have too much traction and seemingly little weight. Some like it so dear.
- There is a slight RPG aspect (character values increase with use), so really stand out, however, do these values.
- Insufficient big raids with alternative missions (since presumably costly to implement)
- The "social" features from its predecessor in the single player mode (with the NPCs do something girlfriend) have been simplified or no longer exist. Probably because already existing accounts mode GTA Online.
Oh yes: Why First Day Patches? These arise from the fact that the press shop (for DVDs) so sends a sufficiently high number of copies is ready for some time before the release of a version of the game. This does not happen immediately before the release but before long. The changes to the game which can arise after this build therefore no longer be included but are submitted in this form.
