To make the macro-picture, it's very annoying. The distance closer to development depends on the focal length (zoom). And the zoom does not maintain focus. In short, compared to a conventional DSLR, it's unusable.
Last problem: if we want to have a good depth of field in a macro, it is able to close to 16 or 32. However, the Lumix is limited to the range 5.6 to 8. This makes it not depth of field for macros.
By cons, very positive note, the optical stabilizer is outstanding (better than my Nikon). You can take photos without a tripod to 1200 without problems.
The quality of the optics is not worth those branded SLR cameras, but it is anyway very decent.
This is one of the few devices that still has an electronic viewfinder that allows use in direct sunlight and certainly not to overreach.
For everyday use and normal movies (under 30 minutes to the same scene), the device is to recommend without hesitation. The price / quality ratio is excellent.
