Armrest similar to the photo, in the sense that it is "full" and is not just an arm rest at the end of a support, because I wanted to avoid such an armrest, in case it would prove too fragile . This model will therefore seems a little better able to withstand the weight, as it easily supports to recover it in a more comfortable position.
Any record is present but in any case, for what? 4 drill holes (ø3mm) and fix the arm with four screws (with plastic washers and plastic screw-caps also). The installation only takes a few minutes and the armrest is ideal for hoped dimensions: it fills the space between the good seats without rubbing against them.
No worries for change speeds, you obviously have to lift the elbow to actuate the handbrake but since it is uses at the start and the finish, I have no discomfort ( the lever remains available, obviously).
The outside is black and the top is in black leatherette. The interior is in turn covered with a thin and soft black layer, which reminds a little touch suede (can not remember the name of the subject), and 90% of the internal volume is accessible (when mounted, there is a double bottom to hide the screws and screw covers became so little use).
Mounted, the set does not move a muscle (but really). Take still careful not to tighten like a nag. You can add acrylic glue if you do not trust but I am not sure that this is useful.
Part-cons, you lose the location for rear cup, located between the seats but no matter to me.
I have successfully installed the armrest on a Punto Evo Dynamic Sport January 2010 (3 doors). The article thus appears to me consistent with my expectations and entirely satisfactory. Faster delivery, as always with Amazon.
