Like many, I was looking for a clock radio can play MP3 directly and this model perfectly fulfills this task. You can wake up with MP3 or simply listen (with or without extinguishing timer to sleep with). The clock radio also displays MP3 tags (artist, song name, etc.). The radio functionality is also effective (RDS stations storage, etc.). The display brightness is also adjustable (3 levels). You can set two alarms (automatically deactivated weekends). When the alarm is on, the clock radio emits a little light on LEDs. Alarms are also additional features: it is possible to adjust the volume for each alarm an hour and also spark off time (eventually the clock radio which remains lit if no one out!). The buzzer is progressive (no heart attack alarm) and a remote control is also provided.
A few minor gripes, however:
- The backup battery (supplied) is a button battery
- No random play mode of MP3 music (reading will be in the order of song titles and will resume at the beginning of the interrupted in the previous reading, scheduled or unscheduled)
- The alarm has a minimum volume (volume 10) which is not the minimum volume of the alarm clock and can be disturbing with some songs
