I put a 1TB hard drive inside and performance USB2.0 is correct with an average of 30MB / s. Additionally it has very well supported writing over 700Go once, for a total of 6 hours of consecutive copies.
Small problem, however, on the rigidity of the USB3.0 cable and the aesthetic appearance of the chrome plate, even if it has its uses for heat dissipation.
In conclusion I would say that not to destroy but to have a product that works is the one for you.
Sincerely.
