The filter comes in a cardboard box and is also provided with an illustrated manual that describes how the filter is to be inserted. However, the images may have somewhat dark. Who is not sure, however, can be found on Youtube very nice videos how to change the cabin air filter. Actually, a matter of 1-2 minutes, there are only 3 bayonet screw gelößt, removed the cover and the filter replaced. Incorrect insertion is actually impossible or simply based on the curvature of the filter used to date.
The MANN Filter is fit and could be used without any problems. But I recommend to remove the old filter the air box with a damp cloth and a little detergent to clean, or at least came with me still together a lot of dirt.
The new filter does exactly what he is, he works unobtrusively. I was also able to direct installation no interior odors (through the filter itself causes) notice. Even otherwise I think it will not filter differ from BMW. Most BMW buys anyway to only 2-3 manufacturers. It may therefore well be that even before a man umgelabelter filter was installed.
Given the good fit, the clean processing, the enclosed documentation and the lower price than the original, there is of me full purchase recommendation.
