I use (Nexus 4) to run (trail) with a running app on foot for several days. What positives (held, protects touch screen ...).
The only negative is sweating that can reach the smartphone and in my opinion do long-term damage. I place a piece of absorbent cloth (between the case and the wrist) to avoid this problem in the best.
