However, several black points are noteworthy.
Already, no menu in French. The camera's menu is available only in English or German.
The menu is user-unfriendly, but simple enough. And with the manual in French, an unfamiliar person with one of these two languages should get out anyway.
On the other hand, for a camera of this price, I find very means that there is no internal memory. Indeed, except if you want to test a dozen photos, for video you absolutely must add an SD card.
Finally, position the camera on a tree with the strap quickly becomes a sport in itself.
The strap tends to flatten the device to the trunk, until then nothing unusual, it's even better for stability. Except that if the trunk of the tree is chosen slightly inclined, which is rather current, you will quickly aim for the sky, or too low. And as you can not tilt the case, we are left to put wedges in order to find the desired angle.
Similarly, to see if it covers both the expected area, we can know that by successive adjustments or by connecting a monitor to the device (this is expected, that's something). For, to film the target area, we must close the case, and as the image playback screen is in, hard to see anything.
Last downside, the system for leaks and allowing the closing of the case seems light saw the force exerted on the whole.
What about the longevity of the latter, exposed to the sun and weather, which we know the action on the aging of plastics.
Ultimately, these points are not necessarily blockers and the product still has the merit of proposing a completely standalone device, to film or photograph a nearby area with a good rendering, day or night.
It is best suited to the observation of nature as monitoring of human activities because it is hidden and discreet enough in the first case, it is not enough for the latter.
