Please note that the G4 standard does not imply that the associated transformer sub straightened. If this is the case, these LEDs will flicker at 100 Hz so very noticeable, is the case with me. But be aware that some models have an electronic able to offset these flicker. Otherwise, these LEDs advantageously replace the halogen bulbs G4 and despite their greater bulk. This product is equipped with 10 x SMD 5050 (for Single Mounted Device) for an approximate total of 150-180 lumens brightness and a 120 degree beam angle. Models from China equipped with SMD 5630 are brighter, it's good to know ... Furthermore, in use over a kitchen worktop (eg hood), I suggest a cool white 6000 Kelvin (or daylight: the sunlight at the zenith being 5800 K), which is more suited to my mind a 2700 K warm white (the luminous efficiency of LED is also higher when their radiation bluish).
