- The weight of the unit almost doubled (but no free)
- The syncs with iTunes are either removing the Mophie iPhone to access the connector (complicated and risky as the Mophie seems not designed to be opened too frequently) or by synchronizing with WiFi (it is the option that I 'have chosen, slower but that does not penalize my use, since iTunes can stay open a few minutes)
- The Mini USB connector is unreliable, perhaps because the supplied cable is too short or too rigid. The result is that the mini USB plug sometimes tends to disconnect. This is fine if charging takes place outside the periods of use of the iPhone (eg at night).
- The button allows you to switch in charging mode (Mophie recharge the iPhone or not), is fragile. It is a plastic mechanism that has nothing to do with the switches of the iPhone. After three months the button is pressed (one round trip per day) it becomes difficult to move the load in position, and I will have to contact the service representative to resolve (repair or replacement).
Maybe I did not have any luck, but for that price, it is still far from the expected quality of a product that also is sold on the Apple Store
