What impressed me most was that the device has a Power Button - for me, there are many situations where I really miss this feature in routers and Co.
A few disadvantages also exist, but are not decisive:
The hard disk from the unit is a bit noisy - well, for me anyway, the device is in a closet and at night it is off;
Also, the device you can also plan on SSH, but not as root. Consequently, you can create any new Samba shares for certain users and has to make do with the two existing. With a normal user access is also better lot - and here is another negative that the home directory is not writeable.
