However, I have not stuck to the manual, but so did it as for foiling onto glass surfaces in general usual and prepared the following things:
-A spray bottle with distilled water and a few drops of detergent
-a saugfgähige pad (tea towel)
-a (soft) plastic card (eg customer card of a furniture store ...) or blade
-a needle
Window cleaner
-Küchenpapier
-A third hand
Then I have my MacBook placed in its open position with the side edge of the backing, cleaned the display window cleaner, finally relatively heavily wetted with the spray bottle, then first have sprayed the film with protective film on both sides with the detergent solution, then carefully remove the whole protective film peeled and meanwhile continuously sprayed onto the so liberated adhesive surface (third hand an advantage!).
Then the whole film is applied to the display: through the film of water it is not glued at this time, but "floats" on the display. Now came the first rough check on any foreign objects that you can now more easily by lifting the foil with your finger nail and with a sharp, clean object (needle, etc.) removed. - Then spray again!
Foil positioned correctly (floats still!)
Then I peeled off the plastic card from the center out all the water, which is now due to expire on display edge and was taken up by the absorbent pad.
If at this point but then a dust-circuit are detected, simply lift the wet film to inclusion - Remove dirt with needle - again with detergent solution "wash", apply again, again pull with squeegee or map the water etc ....
After about 1-2 days and the remaining water is then disappeared under the film (plastic films are not completely vapor-tight!)
-FERTIG!
Result: For me, the film is wonderfully situated, two small dirt inclusions although I had, but they were not be seen at normal viewing angle, and were surrounded after re doctoring of the adhesive layer and are now with the naked eye no longer recognizable.
NOTE: This procedure I described is not regarded as a general recommendation, because of course fiddling required with water at laptop largest care and certain technical understanding!
However, if you have a little experience in the application of glass foils (also car windows etc.) or has skill, comes with this film have no problem!
A star deduction there for minor visual impact of the image, the quality of the raw glare glued panels in terms of clarity and sharpness is not achieved.
Since I'm going to use your MacBook this summer a lot outdoors, this compromise is acceptable for me but!
