Off we went, the second step: Unpacking.
Was delivered in a sleek, elongated box, the parts were well packaged, damages were virtually eliminated. Enclosed were in addition to the goodies above a short guide and held a note about alignment of the TV, more on that later.
The short overflying the instructions chased me a brief fright because there with no picture (yes, there are pictures! Very helpful!) The arm was displayed and was also mentioned with a single word. After a short check whether I have actually ordered the right product, but I unpacked everything and was quickly calmed down, the arm was there. Package Contents was the wall mount with swivel and television back wall in one piece, 2 bars for mounting on the television and a long plastic bag in which to - divided into chambers - bolts, anchors, spacers and other accessories found in different sizes. The anchors for fixing in the wall and matching stud + shims were available in one size, bolts for attaching the strips to the TV in mehrern sizes and other accessories for devices with round rear wall in variable sizes. Here also the only disappointment for me: The distance writing the matching for my device pins were delivered incorrectly, defakto not exist. For the distance writing for the wall bolts were again included (too little, as that one could speak of a double delivery, more than is necessary to mount the strips on your TV) and were abused for my purposes. Unfortunately, you shall keep no possibility leftover screws and washers with the delivered packaging neat, because the chambers were very tight and - once torn - were not resealable.
Now to the actual construction. The instructions are kept short, the most important steps are illustrated. The whole is sometimes badly translated, often missing some words in sentences, but one understands what to do, not least because of the pictures.
The first step is the strips to mount the TV, unfortunately, this is not mentioned (nor in the text to images) only noticed that the fixing screws for the tilting mechanism must be mounted yet, to me is when I thought to finish. If you have the appropriate screws are found for his device the strips attached and fixed very quickly.
Slightly more problems that attach the wall bracket. The manual provides all the same information for Wood beams and concrete walls, so everything is clear in theory. To mark the drill holes should be for two, which is to keep 13 kilos and in passing to set markers not easy. Thanks to the integrated spirit level at least the first step should succeed very well.
Once the holes are drilled, it is important to screw the 6 very long bolts into the wall, the associated key, of course not included (but is just no IKEA product :)). So the hardest part would be managed.
Last step: TV hanging.
By that I mean not the cable, but hang on the wall bracket. Yes, he is really hooked only. At first I was a little surprised, but it's really a good system. Is fixed throughout the still by screws on the bottom side of the strip, thus "out tip" a guarantee of the TV. Whether intentional or not, but the device can move on the bracket yet, what I find it convenient. One must also not have to worry the TV side to push the bracket, one would have enough power to spend to bend the bracket.
Should you - despite the integrated spirit level - have not achieved optimum horizontal position, you can subsequently loosen 5 screws on the wall bracket, slightly readjust and re-tighten. Et voilà, the device hangs (in horizontal scale) on the wall!
Now it can be according to your mood pan and tilt! The swing arm is initially very rigid, whether the slightly loosens over time, or at least better so, will be seen over time. The set screws for tilt mounted something stupid, but I have no intention here very often what to change. Only some fittings the bracket something is in the way, especially when the TV is tilted forward. Whether the connections on my TV just incorrectly positioned or is a "design flaw" of the holder, be times undecided.
There really are a lot of little things that I did not expect at this price, the bracket is very well thought out broadly.
