Good quality / price ratio in 2171

I bought this mouse Logitech M705 Marathon for my mac (coupled with solar keyboard mac, my comment is posted on amazon).
I previously had a Logitech Wave pack (Mouse MX 1100) which I was completely satisfied on windows.

What I think this mouse.

Appearance and finish:
She is beautiful and does not dust. Compact enough and does not take up space.
Appealing to the touch, it proves very comfortable to use, the buttons fall easily to hand (though I have big hands), I blame all the same it is slightly short (9 to 11 cm in length).

Pointer and dial:
The slide is of course adjusted to the software but if she responds well, no worries on that side. That is accurate.
The wheel is adjustable notch or freewheel, I prefer to catch, more accurate, more lisble, just the opposite of the freewheel which is more noisy and more.

Shortcuts:
They are 3 in number: the two arrows back or next (configurable), the third is hidden under the thumb, its location is well chosen only must press very hard and try again several times for it to work, we think more short to use thereafter.

Battery:
It is supposed to take 3 years, I would put my review to date anyway (if by then Logitech does not leave more ingenious products).
I think this can last longer if it is turned off every night (what I do).

Comptaibilité mac:
The software can configure the buttons, good compatibility, I blame the next and back buttons do not work all the time! : On the internet, you must click on the page a few times to get it working.

Weak points:
- Not enough buttons
- Noisy wheel
- In the thumb button does not respond properly

Ultimately, it represents small defects not very bothersome sincerely, we made it very quickly. Moreover, this is a good investment (not charging, no stack of purchase).

Satisfied with my purchase. If you want better for a little more, there is the Logitech Performance that looks pretty bad.
