For the price, I expected lower quality of the equipment, but it is not. Of good quality, the metal case inspires robustness as much by feel than by weight. Regarding its function, it only decodes the digital PCM signals (2 channels), no dolby digital. This is also why I have bought this product already has a home theater, I had to wire my wireless headphones on my TV having one optical output to 2 channels. In short, it perfectly fulfilled its role for half the price elsewhere!
