First installation, ultra simple with Windows7, since Windows will look for the drivers directly online. The installation CD is only useful if you want to install additional software offered by Canon.
The printer has a tray for loading a hundred A4 sheets to the back of the printer. We must plan a little space between the printer and an optional wall. The front is folding but must be lowered to print / copy. Again, some space must be preserved on the front panel. The printer is quite bulky on a small office, this is the disadvantage of a multifunction.
At the ink cartridges, one color, one black. Classic. But be careful, these are "smart" cartridges with integrated print head on the cartridge, and copper connectors (as a competitor) so it does not exist, to my knowledge, "compatible cartridges ". I wore my choice of Canon largely for the opportunity to find compatible cartridges, I am very disappointed about this. Still, the ink is still cheaper than Canon in some competitors.
Listed ease of use, no particular remark. Direct Copy function is handy with a very reasonable quality. Otherwise, classic, with a scanner with a good native resolution (1200 x 2400).
Note a Pictbridge-compatible USB port in front, to print pictures directly from the camera.
I am satisfied with the print speed, and very pleased with the speed scanning, but my reference was 15 years of age in scanner parallel port ... Some talk noise. I have not been more shocked that this noise. I recommend sorrows to remember the time matrix printers (called needle). OK, that last remark does some veteran!
Regarding shipping by Amazon, quick and reliable as usual. For cons, the printer comes live without overpack. It's a little light package that can inflame passions during his expedition.
