I have been given the remote control for Christmas because I have anyway taken me a considerable time with the idea of a universal remote control. However, I have always been put off the price and I was skeptical about whether it all works well as it should. Especially since most supplied with the respective equipment standard remote indeed to be programmed as a universal remote control and has but never really worked for me. But I was instructed by the Harmony 650 for a better! I control so that a Samsung TV, a Yamaha AV receiver, a SKY satellite Reveiver, a Samsung Blu-ray player and a Yamaha DVD player. Programming the remote control was really easy, just as it was advertised! Simply connect to your PC and be guided by the program, because you can not do anything until a little wrong. Even setting up an assignment for Smart TV worked with no problems. After setting everything has been tried and found to be good. There really was not a device that not would have done what it should.
But what's really annoying is the fact that if the BluRay player ran and I followed several other codes Change consecutively eg. TV and music, each time the BluRay player on again with the TV and switches to the BluRay source. This can be avoided only if all the devices I briefly off completely after the operation with the BluRay player and anschalte again after a short time. Even multiple reprogramming the remote control did not work there. But I suspect that it is not on the remote, but rather that the TV and the player are both Samsung and communicate via the Anynet connection from Samsung together.
Another minor shortcoming is the rather high battery consumption. I now had to change within 4 months twice the batteries.
All in all I'm very happy but, yes, almost excited about this remote and would recommend it to anyone who has lying around and tons of remotes with him. The price of the Logitech's definitely more than justified.
