I live in a five-room concrete. My Dartybox server is in a room. The rest everywhere. Hence the difficulty connecting to wifi in several of our devices (tablets, smartphones, WII console, etc.) So I needed a repeater and I tested this model to see if it suited me. Big problem for me who does not follow computer, far away, virtually no manual supplied with the device. It has a CD drive with a text in PDF, but little. Finally I passed the simplest intuitive method to install. I plugged the camera roughly in the middle of the apartment. Then when the green signal has stabilized, I was creating an account on linsyssmartwifi.com. Upon receipt of the email address on my Linksys link, I clicked, as requested in the email to activate the Linksys account. At that moment I had created a wifi access point called Linksys ...... And it was enough to connect to this type the password a bit complicated but not too much, to the brochure contained in the packet. Now for all my devices have trouble connecting to the Dartybox, I have a second access point and that was the goal I wanted. So I can say that this modem router itself has no interest, the Darty server that is the main center, but as amplifier wifi network, plays its role perfectly, and finally s' installs without too much difficulty. Also I do not need to make use of the Ethernet jack: everything happens for me wireless. But I reproach two things to this device: the almost lack of explanatory manuals for unsophisticated people like me, and its price seems a bit high. That's why I give it four stars instead of five. I guess other better than me experienced users will find it more comprehensive uses, which would justify the price.
