It replaces a 29EA93 for me, 29 "2560x1080p IPS (21: 9), the space saving is quite big but not amazing The gain in dimension is significant but not shocking definition seems much better, it's not.. the HiDPI / retina but it is very clean and much better than the LG. The curvature is sometimes invisible but perceptible sometimes difficult to find embarrassing or advantageous for use 50% web, the rest on Terminal, Sublime Text, VLC, iPhoto, iTunes. Connected to a hackintosh in Yosemite with a GTX 750 Ti display port, the 60Hz is supported smoothly at full resolution. The backlight bleed is not horrible in my opinion. Before specifically test a completely black image in full screen I had not noticed at all. You may hear a sound from the electric screen is quite subtle but audible at a normal distance from the screen.
