Since the 2005 release I have been working with Kaspersky products for 3 years with the internet security software. For some 'rogue' websites this software has already blocked some access attempts and automatically download malicious scripts prevented. Although I have not initiated this download, this website would automatically download a file and run in the background. However, this was prevented thanks to Kaspersky. When you open a document alleged I was pointed out that this is an "executable" file is executable (.exe), where a Trojan is hidden. Almost every 2 hours is performed to update the virus database. The firewall can be set, accesses by programs on Internet's can be set by user / prevent / adapted by rules. Unknown programs are scanned in the background for suspicious actions. In addition, programs can be run in a 'sandbox', changes to the PC or the system itself will nThen approved only temporarily; when you exit the program so gestartetetn these changes are automatically disappeared.
During the upgrade you do not need the serial number of the previous version, also has this not to be intalliert physically. Install the upgrade normally, and then enable the enclosed serial number online - I thought that was very convenient.
My dual-core PC (Windows XP) has been almost imperceptibly slow. I pers. Am using this Internet Security 2010 version very pleased and will, almost certainly acquire the future version.
