The only comparison that can be done is with a straightening iron because it does not use on wet hair; thus does not replace the traditional brushing.

Most compared with a flat iron:
- Smooth the hair more quickly and efficiently than could my hair straightener.
- Allows you to slightly waving hair.

For cons, the camera sways very little hair, the result is far from the model shown on the box.
