In my apartment - Reorganized old building, 3-room apartment, extremly poor wireless Verbinung when walls are in between - are these adapters a blessing.
The decor is quite simple, even if the printed manual contains only the bare minimum. The two adapters per se are high-quality, each of the two contains 3 ports for wired network connection. Two RJ-45 network cable of usable length of about 1.60 m are included, more would have to buy more.
The number of required wall sockets is not to be underestimated:
To take full advantage of the powerline adapter, should this really directly on the wall (and continuously through a circuit with the remaining devices), and not through a distributor or extension cord be used. Since the related terminals also need their "juice", it really needs a plurality of adjacent or well distributed electrical outlets in each room.
In the old buildings is not always possible, but then three network ports are indeed still on each adapter available that can compensate for the - without noticeable performance loss (at least for me).
The adapter develop during operation, however, already quite perceptible heat, should be mentioned. The power saving function is class and in collaboration with my router TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 no problems ...
