I used the headset already over half a year and am very happy with the LX-3000th The sound is very good for a multimedia device, ok, in films lacking a little momentum, but for the price this was not to be expected, for music in MP3 area but more than adequate. Good bass, good highs and a few weaknesses in the central regions of the high-end enthusiasts, but these will probably have another headset to listen to music. The microphone is very stable and remains at the assigned location and the sound quality according to the price very good. There are little Nebengräusche transferred and my opposite have so far no problems had clearly and deutslich to understand me. The wearing comfort is very pleasant, because the headset is made entirely of plastic and thus very easy. Is wearing, even after several hours, the headset still annoying and fits comfortably on the head with the imitation leather on. Only on warm days it can be a little warm to the ear cups. Very pleasant To install the headset on Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista (others I have not tested). Simply connect the headset to the USB port and it funtioniert immediately without any problems. I call this plug and play. The built-in USB sound card is instantly recognized and the driver ohnen installed requiring a reboot. So not the cable to the "normal" sound card must be reconnected again, if it should be even louder yet. Approximately 30cm from the headphones away there is a control panel. Here the microphone can be muted (red LED), a normal call on a regular phone should something come; o), also can be here conveniently adjust the volume. Another button is available to call up Windows Life Messenger directly. Since I do not use this, I do not know if it works. A CD lies for the installation of this program, but is not needed for a "normal" multimedia operation. For a multimedia headset I can Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 inscribedable just as successful. I would bring it to me at any time and am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio.
