Pretty object, nice finish but very fragile ... I received it with completely torn membrane ... despite the protective packaging foams with (so I do not know if it comes from the delivery). This membrane is synthetic and rather thin, especially for the weight of the kalimba (the instrument at the center, the rest being a sounding board). Shame ... but I've tested a bit Kalimba and it sounds very good. So, for my part, I ask for a refund and, given the sound quality, I'll spend a little more to get the deluxe version with goat skin (and the tension of the skin adjustment system), which will much stronger.
That said, if you receive it smoothly and that you are careful, you will not be disappointed.
