So this radio ordered, at Pearl's so many good things innovative. My first impression: A robust, simple but friendly designetes compact radio. Fine, I thought, and turned it. The VRadio logs immediately with the channel search. Disappointment: Only 8 stations of the NDR found. Then I switched to battery power and went into the garden. Again, only 8 channels of NDR found.
At some point I had it: All specified at my location 22 digital stations could find the scan: front of the house in the driveway on the long arm outstretched toward the northwest. The preset station so I could then hear the way even at the point in precisely this attitude. Everywhere else on the property, I had anyway only tried it out, there were except NDR only the message: Service Unavailable.
Ok I thought, tough luck. Will perhaps soon be expanded even further, this DAB +. Then I have just the time a reasonable analogue FM radio. But nothing was like! Almost all stations that can be received with any x-arbitrary Tschibo radio in the kitchen or in the bathroom without an external antenna, acknowledged the VRadio only with an unmotivated noise, even outside in the garden, where now was my favorite place for this device, because me anything but hopeless and pointless appeared.
Anyone who thinks the way that is determined everything that I live somewhere in the middle of nowhere, far from it!
I live in Oldenburg (Lower Saxony), 3 Km away from the center of a city with more than 100,000 inhabitants
and two major radio and television transmission towers in direct city proximity.
Also, I am a trained radio and television technician and can distinguish whether it's up to a poor reception or a bad device very well. Here is the bad device (quite poor FM tuner !!!).
Hands off! I returned it.
