Packaging / Delivery
The headset comes in a flashy red and black box with window and is on a "velvety" plastic molding attached - incidentally separated from removable microphone.
Otherwise, is located in the package: the USB transmitter, a quick start guide and a ca 1.5m, polyester-coated mini-USB -> USB cable (to load the headset) - but no installation CD.
Processing / Optional Equipment
Partly Wertig, massive, ostentatious.
Partly wertig because good impression of stable acting sheathed in plastic metal headband and real leather-covered earpads are unfortunately made by some rickety looking plastic earcups slightly offset. Man must be fair, but to say that the clatter of the somewhat resilient / movable suspended ear pads in conjunction with the clear plastic cover is for the LEDs. In this respect: It is easier, a little rattle, because just a lot of plastic was installed.
Massive, because the headphones are already noticeable from the size of what her and is not the easiest - but not uncomfortably hard, because as I said a lot of plastic is installed.

First start
Simple (with restrictions)! USB transmitter to an available USB port plug, and the driver is installed automatically. Since the headphones is already set to the transmitter, it can actually start immediately, because it is summoned. Actually, because you are limited: It has no adjustment options and additional functions, as no configuration software is installed. This one has only to download the absence installation CD separately from Creative. 100MB! Sporty for people with a narrow Internet connection.
In addition, the software can not be installed in the background, but blocked the entire screen for a few minutes. For this purpose it has very few settings options. For example, I would have run no update service in the background .. but Creative cares little ...
If you want, you can even one more Firmware Update (!) Draw for the headphones, which should fix a small error in together hand with the energy-saving mode .. but it can be done without (for me anyway).
Sound
Good! With configuration software installed, everything can be neatly adapted to the favorite listening preferences and save the configuration as a "profile". There are even a few preset profiles, such as a "pro-gamer" likes to play shooter. I find the bass surprisingly tired and Headphones - Audiophile be here schütteln- head sometimes useful for listening to music. Of course, the sound is anything but balanced and of course it's just .. but a gambler utensil, and the love now times Krach Bumm :) There are sound but to lengths inferior headsets on the market.
I had feared that the sound suffers because of the WLAN connection. But he does not. I had with me only in rare situations crackles, which are due to my slightly defective USB port.
The range is about 5 meters more than adequate.

Ergonomics
Here we come to probably the biggest weakness of the Kopfhöhrers: the pillow! It is when it is new, very hard and the headphones is not the lightest ever built. In my opinion, a top headset for gamers. It is wireless, it has good "Krach Bumm" sound, but can also play quietly (with other configuration settings) sounds. The problem with the initially hard head padding has can be solved luckily - possibly einstelltn on a return if it finds it to be unpleasant. The software has her quirks - typical Creative wants to say ... After a firmware update I (on their website recommended) did as directed, has the sound no longer works. Only a complete uninstall and reinstall all drivers could persuade the headset to function.
