The sound is really great. A slight emphasis on the bass with super clean played mids and highs. The headphones presäntieren an insane volume for an On Ear and build a surprisingly large sound stage on. The bass nervous for my taste and not at the heights are perfectly sound and even after 2 hours of continuous listening not too spicy or "cheeky".
The ear cushions are super soft and comfortable. Without glasses they almost never catch on to push or hurt. With my glasses (wide bow) I can 1,5 - 2 hours easily listen to them easily start to press. The headband is not felt due to the low weight of the headphones. The size adjustment snaps clean and high quality.
The "Music Seal" system makes full use. If you turn the music environment is still very good exercise, but very dull. If you switch the music, which the outside world has virtually disappeared. And listen to the surroundings nothing of the music.
One complaint I have not yet. The cable is initially very unruly, after 1-2 weeks to use is this but. A folding function for compact storage would be quite useful. For microphone I can not say anything.

Update:
Mitlerweile after about 10 months, the headphones have a cable break in one of the two ear cups. On cable, it was not that I'm still very pleased because it is not verzwirbelt, yet super durable. After I reported the product directly from Philips as broken, came after 2 days on a brand new headphones in the original package. The old I was then in an environmentally friendly disposal. Class service !!
The built-in microphone I could mitlerweile also often use it and bring the receiver a great quality. Better than the built-in by the iPhone / HTC One S Micros.
* Edit *
Did the Urbanears Plattan and the Beats by Dre Monster Studio heard about it. (Tested extensively with friends)
The Urbanears Plattan cost directly from the manufacturer min. 66 (ie EIA). With a little search you can find the Philips (SHL5605 Citiscape Downtown) for the same price!
Sound: more bass, more bass! Mids and highs - very very bad (failed * e!), In contrast to Philips! All very dull and unbalanced, it creates no volume, no stage. This may be because that the earcups Aim at a different flavor.
Very small earcups and padded my opinion on firmly. The Philips are better in terms of convenience by far. About the appearance can be argued, I find the Urbanears stylish. I was buying also influenced the design, but at the Philips I just the best compromise!

The Beats (RRP: 299.99): I think it's the sound incredibly well. The vote fits almost perfectly to my taste in music. However, the headphones have a lot of buts! The sound can disrupt just as if you're really sensitive to bass or this would have played not emphasized in the music style, the headphones are an absolute "scrap". One should the beats, just like any other headphones, pre-listening. Either one is directly inspired by the sound or you can you are right!
But the biggest shortcoming of these headphones is the processing. It has always afraid in these parts, that something breaks, they are difficult but nevertheless do not feel wertig on.
The convenience is not really top. They can indeed wear long and there are relatively comfortable earcups, but much too heavy.
The NoiseCancelling works really awesome. But it is not perfect, it "annoying" a little in the long run.
