From the sound I'm not disappointed. It's not the biggest noisemakers, accordingly you should not experience total sound sensation. However, I am not an expert in the area, therefore purely subjective feeling.
The depths sound good to me, I do not like 'boomy', which is why I would like to dispense with 2.1 systems. Turning the bass do not get too high, you get a clean result here.
The mids and highs could therefore come a little clearer. I look a movie or listen to music, it does not work in the fields any way it could, but that's still more to complain at a high level; School grades 2-3.
Having frequently been reported noise, I was surprised that I almost nothing of mitbekomme. Sure, I'm very close ran (under 20cm) I hear this quite easily, but not annoying, regardless of the set volume. Better boxing I had not in the ways previously.
On the other hand I have another problem ... a basic hum! It's quiet, but clearly perceptible if not degree resounds from the speakers (with noise one hears nothing about it). Audible this is relatively the same at 50cm distance, as well as at 1.5 m distance. Since I use the boxes on the computer and did not always run music, this is for me unfortunately an absolute knock-out criterion.
You should use the boxes for the TV, so distance than 3m, you should probably not notice any of the hum and can have a good system for a good price.
On the cables, it is not at least. The boxes were connected to a separate electrical outlet, the hum is also, if they do not depend on the PC. Could I replace the hum against a slight noise, I would keep it, but I will not have long joy with and yet looking for an alternative.
Now I am also clear again why I 4 years ago well my first set Edifier back ended and the Hercules bought. It was the same mild hum; So I think there is a general problem with Edifier (?). The whole was in another apartment, so I close times from that it is possible disturbance in the circuit of the house.
So who keeps enough distance, or is 'deaf' in the low-frequency range, should his joy so may have.
The sound and processing in relation to the price get 5 stars; 2 star deduction for not hum hinnembare.
