Now for the but:
We had the "luck" to test the tent to its tightness, because it was raining this weekend twice.
The first time it rained Friday morning about 1 hour sometimes more, sometimes less. Here the tent held tight.
The second time late on Friday afternoon it rained for about 2 hours so strong that at the campsite the water was about 1 cm high. Who knows the campsite at the Nürburgring know that the waste stream flows through it. The creek is normally a trickle of a few cm wide and feet not completely wet when you would go through. This trickle swelled to about 1.5 meters wide. So I imagine monsoons.
After about 1 hour we noticed that although there are quite weak but noticeable drizzling through the zippers of the side entrances. We have noticed it, because there were a table stood on the plastic stuff and had this little fine droplets.
But the tent itself (roof, walls and seams) also held this storm was. What you could not tell from our two other sleeping tents and other tents in the square. In our it rained purely and two other crashed on the course because of wind gusts along.
That written as in other recession at a window clean runs, we could not determine.
Not built up, we have the sleeping cabins and the ground.
My conclusion after this weekend:
It's a solid, stable and spacious tent at a fair price with a little weakness in really extreme rain. Why only 4 stars.
Still, I would buy it again along with two cans waterproofing spray.
