The assembly was easy. The housing of the dimmer is more ivory-colored and not silver. The light from the reading light is good; the switch is placed on the reading lamp. The dimmer can be adjusted without steps. The light of the ceiling lamp has too much white for my taste and reminds a bite to fluorescent light. There's nothing like the warm glow of a 60W bulb. But will get used to it ... my wife is happy with the light.
