It concerns with the T-Mobile stick to a branded Huawei E1750, which has an unpleasant side effect, because this stick is - unlike the T-Mobile Web n Walk Stick IV Surfstick - not on the list of of various UMTS routers (z. B. for Netgear MBRN3000 3G / 4G Mobile Broadband UMTS WLAN router 300) supported sticks.
I gave it a try. A connection via the Netgear router came yet, but the connection was more than 10 times slower than on the T-Mobile Web n Walk Stick IV Surfstick (instead of 6,000 kbit / s download only 450 kbit / s). Amazingly, remained even after the return change to the T-Mobile Web n Walk Stick IV Surfstick. I had to return until the router manager and again click Apply there to get back to full speed for the IV-Surfstick.
Later I tried it with the TP-Link TL-MR3420 3G / 4G LTE wireless router (up to 300 Mbps data transfer rate, UMTS / HSPA / EVDO) again: This could be - despite Newest software version - otherwise than by build the T-Mobile Web n Walk Stick IV Surfstick, only no connection to T-Mobile.
Based on this experience I can therefore only say that the stick might make as a stand-alone solution (eg for a netbook.) Quite a good job. He also looks pretty cool. It is not supported by the market UMTS routers.
