The Philips is cheaper and has fairly good reviews so I then ordered. Delivery by Amazon as usual super fast.
The remote control looks quite nice from ..... but the glossy surface is a fingerprint storage device ". Quick sees the remote control from dingy .... but can be quickly wipe clean.
Otherwise, processing is fairly solid and the remote control is tired and heavy (the Harmony is, however, a lightweight) in hand. The keys have a better tactile feedback and the backlight is also better because more evenly.
Unfortunately there is no Aufladeschale as in the Harmony and with three AAA batteries it needs (in clear touch display) more juice than the usual remote controls.
Regarding the establishment as the Harmony can naturally shine with a gigantic database. This makes the device seem easier. The Philips knew my eg HDMI switch from DIigitus not. But is not a problem because you manually learning "can add these devices. Negative, I noticed that the Phillips not always creates the real existing keys in the softkeys. Here a lot is needed to correction. Another advantage of the Harmony .... .The configuration is stored on the server and Logitech also a change to another remote control from Logitech is provided and thus easy. The Philips does not lose when the battery is replaced while its configuration ... but can back up or store you will not. Turns the question what happens when the batteries are times longer from the device?
When creating the activities the Harmony setup is slightly more sophisticated. Philips has many functions (permanent IR signal etc) somewhat hidden. Among the advanced settings but is then to tinker complicated macros an overview and possibility itself. I find the option now more comfortable than that of Harmony.
Class are the softkeys. These can be distributed on the massive existing levels (six buttons per level). Here the 4 Farbkey the most remote controls are set up automatically at first. It is nice that you these keys depending on the device can be provided with their own names, while the font are displayed in the original color of the Keys. Overall, I like the soft keys on the touch screen better than that of Harmony. Here the pressure point has always been the point of criticism. A treat are the favorites and the ability to provide them with station logos. This works very well. Since the whole can of course also set up for the radio part of my Satreceiver now arises the opportunity to Satreceiver as Radio ..ohne to use the TV) because the stations are set up on the favorites list.
Those who do not take the time on an evening time to test the configuration extensively (laptop watching TV is very convenient) is not happy with the Philips. But whoever takes some time can put together everything for his own taste.
In summary, I think the better Philips. Time will tell if the build quality is better. But he who seeks an alternative to the Harmony is served here well.
