Property me these tights bought to withstand a dress in these cold temperatures during the weekend can. The color is nice and bright and perfectly fits my very fair skin. The 40den are not opaque, but I also did not want to, because the dress is too summery to attract an entirely opaque tights. Thus, you can still see by little, but not as much as in the conventional tights with 20 or 25den. The soft waistband is a little too closely at my chosen size, but not so tight that it is not portable (perhaps more of a size bigger).
