Good tires at a reasonable price, but not 100% puncture resistance

Replacement tires for my pedelec, to which the same tires were mounted. The original set of tires completed in less than three years at 7,000 kilometers without problems and without breakdown and should have had at least the same profile for mileage. Unfortunately, the puncture protection is not perfect, because when driving over a sharp-edged part it has been completely cut to approximately 1.5 cm in length by all layers of the tubing course. I would have expected a little more resistance to such destruction. Repairing impossible. A unplattbarer swallow with 3mm rubber insert this would have perhaps avoided, but is also more expensive. Therefore, a final point deduction, despite the previously good puncture resistance. The price / performance level has yet convinced me, the tire buying again.
